Novohradské hory Nature Park

An almost untouched region of vast forests, sunlit meadows, babbling brooks and pond surfaces mirroring magical sunsets. The peculiar and little-known mountains in the south of Bohemia are interwoven with a web of paths and trails that connect picturesque villages or lead from nowhere to nowhere. As a day trip by car, we recommend visiting the lookout tower on Kraví hora on Hojná Voda, the beautifully restored church on Dobrá Voda, Terčino valley with its unforgettable waterfall, Žumberk fortress and the birthplace of Jan Žižka of Trocnov. If you still have time, have a fish dinner at Třeboňské náměstí.
