Our recommendations for walks around the guesthouse.

Celtic Oppidum Třísov

The ancient Celtic oppidum can be found on the way to Třísov (500 m from the pension). On the left side, there is a gate of the oppidum marked with signs, which you pass through. Slightly to the left across the meadow, you will reach additional information boards where you can learn about the history of the southernmost settlement of the ancient Boii. The path ends at a stone mound. You can follow the white arrows on the trees further; it requires a bit of imagination to immerse yourself in ancient history. Please do not move any stones in these places.

Viewpoint of the Dívčí kámen Castle Ruins

It would be a pity not to visit the viewpoint of the Dívčí kámen Castle ruins and the meanders of the Vltava River in the area. The local residents and the Protected Landscape Area (CHKO) do not want crowds of visitors there. However, we have marked the path for our pension guests. From the pension, follow the Křemežský Stream downstream, and at the end of the reservoir with small waterfalls, you will find a white arrow on a telegraph pole pointing left up the hill. Continue following the white arrows on the trees. At the top, you will reach a signpost. To the right, the brave can climb to the final cliff and enjoy a unique view. To the left, you will comfortably reach a second beautiful viewpoint by following the arrows. Then we recommend returning to the path to the reservoir and walking to the signpost at the castle. From there, head right up the hill and follow the hiking trail to the houses. At the "tin" garage, turn right down and follow the path back to the pension. The loop is marked and takes about one to two hours for a walk.

Viewpoint of the Vltava River

In good weather, you can borrow a blanket from the basement of the pension, take something nice to drink with you, such as coffee or beer in a cup, and walk to the nearby viewpoint on the meadow (150 m from the pension) and enjoy the unique view of the summit of Kleti. From the pension, head right between the gardens up the hill, and where the path is crossed by a small stream, turn right following the white arrows and reach the edge of the forest.
