Enjoy the sunlit terrace, for example with a book and iced coffee on one of the sun loungers. Both children and adults can use the pool.

The rustling of the forest and the singing of birds will enhance your experience. Children can even ride our wooden dragon. For children, the playground amidst beautiful nature all around is the best. Believe that activities like skipping stones in the stream and feeding fish can occupy children for hours. At the castle, there are knowledge quizzes, such as "Which animal track belongs to this footprint?"

Whoever doesn't want to splash around in our stream by the protruding rock on hot days can visit the natural swimming pool in Třísov, just one kilometer away, nestled by the forest with stunning views of the surroundings. There's a grassy beach, clean water, a children's slide, a diving board, and usually not too many people.

In Krásetín, there's also an excellent swimming pool under Kletí, and nearby, you can refresh yourself in the Ktišský Pond.

Our guesthouse is less than a kilometer away from the Vltava River. Companies providing rafting services will gladly pick you up and take you to a location where boats, rafts, life jackets, and more are ready for you. You'll enjoy rafting down the chosen stretch and return to the guesthouse in the evening. You can comfortably shower, dine, sleep, and the next day, continue down another stretch. You can also use our train, which, like the rafting company Inge, has stops or rental stations at all major rafting spots. Rafting through Český Krumlov is an unforgettable experience.

Hamr and Water Sports

An unforgettable experience for active individuals and adrenaline enthusiasts is riding a scooter down from Mount Kleť. Cruise through the beautiful nature of the Blanský Forest and enjoy a unique ride with an elevation drop of up to 630 meters. Three routes are available for those interested: to Český Krumlov, Zlatá Koruna, or to Krásetín at the cable car parking lot.

In the vicinity, there are numerous cycling routes.

We recommend the cycling route to Zlatá Koruna. In Štekří, you can try the famous flatbreads with garlic and jam, they are excellent. From there, you can cycle to Boršov nad Vltavou and back, passing by the memorial of the shot-down American pilot through Vrábče and Holubov back to the guesthouse.

Cycling routes to Český Krumlov and Brložsko are also beautiful.

Train connections work well too. Board the train and have your bikes loaded into a special wagon in Holubov, and ride, for example, with your children to Hůrka near Lake Lipno. The lake can be circumnavigated by bike, and if you don't feel like riding further, take a ferry back to the train from the opposite side.

It's mostly a flat terrain where kilometers pass quickly. We offer free bike storage at our guesthouse.

Beautiful donkeys graze near Dívčí Kámen Castle. It's possible to take a donkey ride. It is said that donkeys don't like being called donkeys as it is derogatory to them. Therefore, it's better to call them "little horses", and they will gently sway you on their backs.

There are numerous machine-groomed cross-country skiing trails in the vicinity of Klet. Nearby, there are also smaller ski resorts (Podlází, Rohy, and Chmelnávíce at https://www.jihoceskyvenkov.cz/…ky/ )

Larger ski resorts like Frymburk, Hochficht, Lipno, Mitterdorf, and Sternstein are also very popular, located approximately 40 – 70 km from the guesthouse.

The surrounding forests are full of mushrooms. When they grow, I bet that during a visit to the forests around Klet, you won't be able to carry all your catch.

It is not excluded that the chef will cook a delicious mushroom sauce or soup from the freshly picked mushrooms.

You will long remember the beautiful flat walks in the Křemže Valley from Holubov along pine serpentinite forests to the ruins of Dívčí Kámen Castle and the meanders of the Vltava River. Capture photos and videos. When your children grow up, they will enjoy looking at them.
